Mother's Day parts cleaning & painting...

Hmmm, she didn't seem thrilled w/Jerry & I working today.  : 0
But look at that refinished fan shroud!

The Bellhousing was pretty rough

Jerry went to town on it...

Alternator bracket (w/mods)

Some parts cleaning complete.  Time for sanding...

Now that's a Bellhousing. Nice!

Cleaned, sanded, primed & painted!

Clutch cross-shaft (z-bar) all cleaned and ready for finishing

Alternator bracket looks strange, because it had an xtra bracket given the car had headers.  It's supposed to mount to the passenger exhaust manifold.

We only need the left piece.

Steering shaft is rough. We'll clean/paint that another day.

We'll also do the dark blue on steering column.

Freshly painted parts...

Using the Drummel tool on the fan shroud to fix some previous metal damage

Re-sprayed it.  Looks great.

More parts degreased and painted today.

An inventory we took on Saturday...to see what all is left.

The 2 air cleaner straps (compared to my two). You can see one is the wrong size and has the wrong screw.

The rubber air cleaner boot...also a bit rough (shown next to mine).
